Our Story

Jesika and Danielle both grew up near big cities in Italian American households. They currently reside outside of Richmond, VA with their children and husbands--who both just happen to be lawyers with Italian last names!

Their friendship started over two almond milk lattes four years ago. After that meet up, they soon realized how much they have in common and became instant best friends!

They come from a long family line of chefs and talented home cooks.  Some of their best childhood memories are sharing delicious homemade meals around a table with their loved ones.

Over the course of their friendship they started hosting dinner parties together, using provisions from local farms. Others noticed how well they worked together and started hiring them to cook for their dinner parties and to style their special events! For the past 3 years, they have styled micro weddings, birthday parties, quinceanera celebrations, baby showers, holiday parties, fundraisers, corporate events, non-profit confrences, album release parteis and the list goes on! They love creating experiences that their clients and their friends will remember for years to come! Some of their favorite tablescapes and dishes include juniper berries and figs, and this is the story of how Juniper & Fig was birthed!

With their similar upbringings, passion for cooking, Jesika’s wedding design experience and Danielle’s event planning background they make a strong creative team! And best of all, whether they are in a kitchen or an event space they have the best time together!
